MAN-KIND

We were born, brought up, and raised in society, however, I would like to classify society into two types. Ancient religious societies, which were meant for gods and followed by gods, later adopted by us.
and the other, that is today’s modern society.

In This ancient society, people were more focused on the meaning of life, super consciousness, fate, destiny, universe, and soul. They all were working together, for each other to understand the deeper meaning of life. where each and every individual was conscious of his role in this universe. All people that were born had a purpose. So basically this society dealt with the broader picture, that is understanding of the universe and understanding of the inner self.

However, the roots of modern society have been completely changed.
The focus is more on material enjoyment and building of the nation,
understanding of the inner self is completely out of the picture. We don’t know what we are born for and what our end will be. The system is such that it tends to make people selfish, materialistic, and ignorant.
Having a full belly, wearing good clothes, enjoying liquors is the central theme of today's lifestyle.
Of course, we are technologically much more advanced and that eased life. but at what cost?
The more we are moving towards technological development, the more we are getting away from the understanding of God. Science and technology have provided mankind immense power.
We know how to build a nuclear weapon, but do we have any realization or morality of how and where to use it? The knowledge that we possessed was used as a weapon of mass destruction. Do we really deserve to get our hands on technology of which we have no idea of its consequences?

Why is our growth focused more on outwards rather than inwards? Why are we more interested in "WHAT" rather than on "WHY"
what was the reason that our society had to shift focus from spiritual aspect to material and technological aspect?
what do you think?
Today, are we not capable enough to understand our inner self and our relation to the universe?

Or …… are our sins throughout history are so great, that mankind is doomed to perish soon?
The global pandemics throughout the world right from early times are signs of it.
and in this little window that we have, we are more focused on enjoying each and every day selfishly rather than understanding a complete picture. Because of this attitude we have the potential to nurture the roots of the 7 deadly sins (i.e  of pride, lust, envy, greed, anger, gluttony, sloth) in our hearts.

When people cannot have control over their sins, they might often end up killing others or even themselves.

We are so desperately struggling to build our nation. Schools, colleges, industries are manufacturing intelligent robots or so-called aspiring students. The mental health of the individual gets hampered in the process and although successful, but people are lost and lonely deep down.

Our ways of living are too harmful and dangerous. I think it is time that we should change our perspective on life. It is time to bridge the gap between spirituality and materiality.
