Free Will

 Free-will

Free will is a debatable topic.
Do we really have any free will?
Do we really make a choice?
We are what we choose to be! But, are we really free to choose whatever we want?
Do we make a choice based on what we desire? or what situations compel us to do?

Trapped in a loop of cause and effect. Does freedom really exist?

Are you really with the person you choose to be? Or are you with the person you felt is right to survive the situation?

Are you really doing the job you wanted to? Or are you just trapped into providing your loved ones' financial needs?

Are you really happy and satisfied with whatever you have, or do you lie to yourself to sleep?

If we have free will, why is our life not aligned as per our choices?
What is the problem? Where are we going wrong?
Confused and lost. In despair and frustration. Trying to keep the sanity alive.
Desperately looking for a way out, only to sink deeper in the confusion. Is there any way out?

We are born, we go through schooling, graduate, build careers, retire.
And between this, life happens.
Some get along naturally; others struggle badly just to find peace.
Why is it so?
Is it because of the way we have built society?

NO..!!

The system or the governance that we have is perfect.
There are no loopholes here. It’s designed perfectly.
Every individual can have their own happy place here.

It’s not the system’s fault that people feel lost and frustrated in this, what we have labeled as the “rat race.”

The problem lies in blindly following others. People go after money, fame, and satisfaction so blindly that the whole social structure, along with its moral values, is badly deformed. We are worshiping false gods. We have made wrong ideals. We have false kings sitting on the throne. The problem lies with people who are ruling this governance. Our life is so deeply interconnected with each other, what one person does affects the entire chain. And in the end, us!

We have somehow linked and allowed ourselves to take the burden of other people’s sins by allowing them to be in power and following them.

These people who are in power are selfish and have nothing to do with the well-being of others. They are in power because we allowed them to be, because of a lack of individual self-awareness. We allowed our environment to become toxic.

We need a society where people can follow their hearts, where people can express their true potential, and can help and uplift others to achieve the same.

We do not need dominance. We don’t need competition. We need to follow a collective selfless goal.

If we are not aware of our own capabilities, we will be a puppet of this selfish system, where false gods will govern you with false rewards

to keep you in a loop till death. Played by strings behind the shadows. Placed somewhere where you cannot be happy. Unaware of what you are really doing.

“Freedom” is the only way out.
What is this Freedom?
To have tons of money?
To never work again, get out of the system, and retire to some peaceful place?
To do whatever you like?
To explore whatever you want?

No !

To be at a place where we can express our true potential, our true self, is FREEDOM.
Can our souls truly express their splendor in an environment where free will is trapped under made-up conditions by others?

Never.

But still !
It’s not too late.
We can still achieve our freedom.
Let’s take a leap of “self-faith.”
Do not make anyone your ideal.
The only one you should believe in is “yourself.”
You alone are enough.

Carve your gods out of stone, not out of people. People can change, turn bad, and spread false messages.
But a stone idol is timeless; in it, you will see what you want to see. Your faith and belief remains unhampered.

Let us pursue what we enjoy and not what we need.
Everyone is unique. Every individual has their own set of skills. Do not follow anyone.
Follow your heart. Know what you really love, and you will realize that every profession is nurturing.
All are equally valued and respected. No profession is good; no profession is bad.

Don’t take science and mathematics as a major field because everyone is taking it; take it if you love to understand how things work.

Don’t go to IIT because they offer a good package; go to IIT because they will give you good knowledge.

Don’t be a politician because you can get liberty to bribe and earn wealth. Be a politician to help those who are in your governance.

I hope we can be at a place where people would love what they are actually doing:

A teacher who enjoys teaching, not beating innocent children because of frustration.
A lawyer who enjoys justice, not siding with the powerful.
A doctor who cares for others’ well-being, not smuggling organs.
A writer who can spread positivity, not toxicity in the name of love, lust, and sex stories.

I hope we can be at a place where people would love what they are actually doing.

Let’s have the right people in the right place to create an environment where individual souls can nurture themselves.
In such a community, which is not toxic, our choices won’t be bounded or enforced.
We can be with the right person, in the right place. This is the only way to live in peace and harmony as a community.

Oh, and regarding Free-Will, it’s still a debatable topic. So no concrete answers here.

Hehe :p

Hope this new year brings you clear choices and peace.

Until next time 
